Housed within the Department of Nursing at the University of Haifa, and led by Dr. Nadya Golfenshtein, the lab's mission is to implement the highest research standards and interventions among populations exposed to complex medical adversities, with a special emphasis on caregivers' resilience and coping process. Research conducted in the lab includes clinical field studies examining mechanisms of coping flexibility, cognitive and emotion regulation processes, and other bio-psychosocial and organizational parameters of resilience, affecting illness adaptation and quality of care. Through local and international collaborations, the lab integrates research with practice, connecting academic inquiry with clinical application. Ultimately, we aim to inform health policy, improve workforce sustainability, and enhance individual and family well-being.
